UEFA announced on Wednesday that it has received the dossier of the joint candidacy of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, in addition to Turkey, to organize the 2028 Euro Cup and of Italy and Turkey for the 2032 edition.
After this noon deadline for the presentation of previous projects, England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales will first compete with Turkey for the 2028 event and, if the Turkish federation does not choose, it will also choose to organize 2032 tournament with Italy.

UEFA indicated that the three candidates will have until April 12 of next year to send their final documents and that they plan to choose a venue for the competitions in the fall of 2023.
Last March UEFA received, in addition to the projects confirmed today, a declaration of intent from Russia to host the 2028 or 2032 Euro Cup, but in May UEFA rejected this candidacy by extending the sanctions imposed on that country for invading Ukraine.
