Cameroon and Panama tied with one goal in an entertaining match

The Cameroon team started everything from minute 1 of the game, when Vincent Aboubakar entered the area and requested the Panamanian goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera, who cleared the danger with his legs.

Three minutes later Aboubakar finished from distance, but his shot went wide of the Panamanian team’s goal. The Cameroonian team stepped on the accelerator in the first fifteen minutes of the game against a Central American team that withstood the quick attacks of the Africans.

In the 46th minute, César Yanis stole the ball and passed it to Ismael Díaz, but the Panamanian striker’s shot hit the crossbar and went over the end line, wasting a clear chance to open the scoring. A minute later, new player Eric Choupo-Moting received the ball, finished, covered by Mosquera, Choupo-Moting himself took the rebound and sent it into the end of the goal to make it 1-0 on the scoreboard .

In the fight for the goal, the Panamanians did not stop attacking and it paid off in the 55th minute, with a free kick by Michael Amir Murillo, who with an impeccable recovery from his right foot put the score at 1-1 . The Central Americans, in the 62nd minute, had to extend the score, with a cross from Murillo, headed by Christian Martínez, Onana had another flight to save his goal.

The last danger of the game was for the African team, with a cross from Kounde, headed by Choupo-Moting, but his shot hit the post of the Panamanian goal. After 90 minutes, including four extra minutes, the referee ended the rivalry, ending the Panamanian tour and leaving the Cameroon team ready for their World Cup debut, next Thursday against their Swiss counterparts.
