The Dutch driver takes his fifteenth victory of the year in the farewell of Sebastian Vettel in Formula 1

Max Verstappen made the finishing touch of a historic season with his fifteenth race victory. The Dutch oiloto raised the record for single-year wins in Formula 1 to 15, with the challenge of surpassing it in the next championship. Second place went to Monegasque Charles Leclerc who secured second place, the only one at stake, after getting ahead of Sergio Pérez.

In addition to the race result, the test was marked by the farewell of Sebastian Vettel. The German Aston Martin driver, who finished 10th in Abu Dhabi, ends his career with four titles to his name in the past 15 years since his debut in 2007 with BMW Sauber.

Things didn’t go too bad for Carlos Sainz, who remained on the edge of the podium in the final round of the season. It was worse for Fernando Alonso, who had to retire after yet another problem with the engine of his Alpine that saw him say goodbye to the French team after a year marked by the Asturian’s dissatisfaction with his team.
