Serious accident on Friday evening at Autobahn 19 in Mecklenburg-Westers Pomerania: a Flix bus on the way to Vienna came from the street and was destroyed. 20 people were injured. A victim of accidents was stuck in the vehicle for two hours.
The accident took place around 2:40 am behind the Röbel Junction to Berlin, as the newspaper “Bild” reported. “The bus that serves the Copenhagen – Vienna Line was currently working on 53 travelers and two bus drivers,” said a police spokesperson.
20 prisoners were injured, one of them life -threatening. A passenger had to be cut from the wreck with special tools and suffering serious injury. The travelers who had survived the undamaged accident were taken by another bus to the village of Röbel.
The highway to Berlin was closed until the early hours of the morning. The two bus drivers were not injured.
