‘Fight for Glory-Top Queens’, night to fight gender violence

Next Saturday, November 26 at 3:00 pm, the Germans Margall municipal pavilion in Malgrat de Mar (Barcelona) will host the third edition of Battle for Glory-Top Queens, sports evening that will feature women in the World Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The main fights of this international Kick Boxing event will be led by the top Catalan fighters at the state level: Mireia Garcia and Victoria Boyanova, who will compete in the World and European Championships of the Kick Boxing and K1 disciplines, respectively.

This charity sporting event will close a day of free activities -talks with boxers, self-defense course, etc.-, organized by the Malgrat de Mar City Council and held on the morning of the 26th municipal pavilion, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

This meeting of global impact and which aims to give visibility to women’s sport, is also a solidarity initiative whose funds raised, the result of ticket sales, will go to Vicente Ferrer Foundation. The major challenge of the foundation’s comprehensive development program is to combat the discrimination experienced by Indian women before birth and gender-based violence.

fight for glory will feature the participation of some of the most renowned national and international athletes (with female and male representation), participating in two World Championships, a European Championship and one in Spain, completing the night with 12 professional battles and 4 amateurs in different modalities. .

mireia garcia He is one of the most versatile fighters in the Spanish National Team, excelling in all forms of combat in which he participates. At just 25 years old, he already has a record of 13 fights and 11 victories achieved in different parts of the world, holding up to 7 national titles in different modalities. Mireia was the first Spaniard to represent our country in the prestigious Combate Americas, also obtained an important victory in the last edition of Global Combat, held in Miami.

Victoria “Adrenaline” Boyanova, Catalan of Bulgarian origin, is a member of the Spanish National Team and a benchmark of women’s Kick Boxing and Muay Thai. With extensive experience in the prestigious IFMA (International Federation of Muay Thai Associations) circuit, he has a record of 18 fights and 14 victories, currently holding 3 national and international titles.

Fight for Glory – Top Queens is a meeting of international impact, organized by the school of Martial Arts and Contact Sports Top King Training Center in Malgrat de Mar and the Team Calvet gym in Badalona. Its broadcast will be carried out through La Liga TV, reaching a total of 70 countries. In this third edition, the event is expected to receive between 1,500 and 1,700 attendees. The two previous editions, which also took place in Malgrat de Mar, added more than 3,000 spectators.
