Lorenzo Sonego and Lorenzo Musetti, for Italy, and Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime, for Canada, were re-elected of their captains to play this Saturday in Malaga in the Davis Cup semifinal.
All four players will be present in the quarterfinal matches.
The number twos, Sonego and Shapovalov, ranked 45th and 18th on the ATP, will play in the first individual matchwhile the leaders of the team, Musetti (23) and Auger-Aliassime (6), will play the second point on the green track of the Martín Carpena pavilion.
Sonego and Auger-Aliassime won their matches in the quarterfinalsunlike Musetti and Shapovalov, who lost to them.
