UCAM Murcia takes on a new member in its squad: Rati Andronikashvili, a Georgian player, 21 years old and 193 centimeters. The youngster takes the positions of point guard and shooting guard and gets a spot as a training player. His great value is his physique, which he benefits from in defense as well as in attack.
Andronikashvili is an international of Georgia, the team he played with in last Eurobasket, and comes from Creighton University, with whom he played in the NCAA.
Andronikashvili was trained in the youth academy of Baskonia and also played a season in the EBA League with subsidiary San Pablo Burgos. Before making the jump to the NCAA, he also played a season as a pro with BC Rustavi in Georgia. He took a step forward with his national team last season.
