Dani Olmo: “We need to control more”

Date:

Dani Olmo, one of the footballers that Luis Enrique has full confidence in the first matches of the World Cup, was happy with the intense match played by La Roja against Germany, but did not avoid self-criticism.

“We played a pretty complete game, but they had more chances. We need to be more calm in the counterattacks, because we had losses that we don’t usually do. We didn’t have more control”, he acknowledged at the end of the rivalry .

For the Leipzig forward “every game is important, if we win today, we will be in the round of 16. Now it’s time to rest and think about the match against Japan”, the team that Spain will face on Thursday.

Finally, he also mentioned the atmosphere in the Red’s locker room, it’s great and it’s not overshadowed by the current recession. “The atmosphere has always been good and it’s not going to change now because of a draw. That shows on the pitch. Luis Enrique hasn’t said anything to us after the game,” he told TVE.
