The Argentinian Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martinocoach of Mexicoacknowledged that his ‘tri’ contract “expired when the referee blew the final whistle” and “the big disappointment” of being eliminated from the group stage of Qatar World Cup 2022.
“I cannot say anything to the people because I am the most responsible for the great frustration and disappointment that we have. As the person responsible for this, which causes a lot of grief, I take full responsibility for this big failure”, the press conference began.
“There is no reason that now makes me think that the future should be different. The contract expired when the referee whistled the end”, he completed.
“The pass was lost tonight. That was our best game, where we created the most scoring situations and we could have scored the number of goals we needed, but we failed”, he added.
