The Algerian YouTuber Saduni SM, victim of the attack by the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FCF), Samuel Eto’oannounced Tuesday that he has filed a complaint against the former soccer player.
As he recounted on his YouTube channel, he went to ask Eto’o about Bakary Gassama, the referee of the controversial play-off match between Algeria and Cameroon, which angered the former player, who kicked him hard in the chest, according to what he sees in the photos circulating on social networks.
Saduni SM assured that she filed a complaint for assault and destruction of material, as they destroyed the camera where she recorded the scene.
The events took place last night at the end of the match between Brazil and South Korea at the 974 stadium in Doha, where the FCF president, who is also a FIFA ambassador, came to witness.
After leaving the stadium, many fans asked for photos of Eto’o, who smilingly agreed to their demands, until the youtuber who recorded the scene arrived, which immediately provoked the anger of the former player of soccer.
Several people tried to separate him, but Eto’o chased after the ‘youtuber’, where another person took the camera.
At that moment, the former player broke away from people trying to calm him down and delivered a judo kick to Sadumi, who fell to the ground.
According to what he narrated on his channel, he suffered several injuries while his camera and microphone were destroyed, for which he requested that anyone who saw the scene, come forward to testify on his behalf.
Eto’o witnessed all of his team’s matches in Qatar, which failed to make it past the group stage, despite losing to Brazil on the final day.
The former soccer player is still in the Qatari capital watching matches.
