After winning again with a bronze at the European Championships in Dublin 2021, where Ingebrigsten won, and fulfilling his dream of becoming an Olympian at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (13th in the 5,000 meters), Gressier will return to the Barcelona event on 31 from December.
