The Canarian boxer pointed out from his hospital bed that the operation was successful – “thanks to the equipment of Dr. Carlos, my operation was successful” – and in the statements collected by the Spanish Boxing Federation he assured that he is well and that now he will sleep at home: “I am fine and want to start training again, although I have to be patient. I have no doubt that I can win the world title,” he assured.
