Israel Vicente, taking over the reins of Calahorra, joins Alburquerque, Campos and Adrián as sole exponents
Of the 172 coaches occupying the benches of the two categories of professional football, First and Second Federation, only three came from Murcia until last week. Sergio Campos, a 37-year-old from Jumillano, is celebrating his second campaign with Socuéllamos after replacing Josico last season and achieving a creditable stay in the Second Federation. He is a coach with future trained in the bases of Albacete.
In the Yeclano of the same category triumphs Adrián Hernández, born in Churra 41 years ago, who was promoted for the Barça team and who already had a background in Second B at Real Murcia, which he led in 42 games. These two were joined by Pedro Alburquerque in the Mar Menor, also in the Second Federation, a coach who, at just 27 years old, is having his first professional experience after the retirement of Javi Motos from the San Javier team.
Campos, Adrián and Alburquerque are a scarce representation, although they have had reinforcements since last Saturday. It is Israel Vicente, a 35-year-old coach who has taken over the reins from Calahorra, of the First Federation, and who last week temporarily replaced Juan García in the La Rioja team. Second, he had already replaced him when penalized, earning a creditable 4 out of 6 points.
He scored a point for leader Castellón and now it remains to be seen what he will do next Sunday in Elda (12.00) to continue in this position.
