The LA VERDAD newspaper, together with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) and with the collaboration of the Sports Department of the Murcia City Council, is organizing the San Silvestre de Murcia 2022 for another year. The good news is that, On this occasion, the race will be held on the morning of December 31 at 11am, with the start and finish line on Paseo Teniente Flomesta, in front of the Town Hall. The tour runs through the central streets of the capital of Murcia, passing by the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga and the Cathedral. Registration on laverdad.es.
The distance for the absolute race will be 6.5 kilometers, in which every runner born in 2010 (12 years old) and earlier can participate. For children under 16 years old, it is mandatory to present the parental consent provided in the annex to a regulation that can be consulted at atachitumeta.es when picking up the bib number. It is forbidden to run without a starting number and only people who register according to the rules are covered by health insurance.
The early collection of songs will take place at the Príncipe de Asturias sports pavilion (Avenida Juan Carlos I), which will be open with these hours on the following days: Wednesday, December 28 (from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM), Thursday, December 29 ( from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and Friday, December 30 (from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.). For number collection, it is mandatory to present the ID or official document proving the identity of the registered. Until Thursday 22 December, registration for the Murcia end-of-year test costs 12 euros.
All pre-registrations not paid within 24 hours will be automatically removed from the system and will not be valid. Once the registration has been accepted, no returns, exchanges or number assignments are allowed. If there are free starting numbers, a new registration period will open in person at the delivery address from December 28 to December 30 (non-extendable period) within the same hours established for delivery address with a fee of 15 euros. The number cannot be folded and the chip cannot be manipulated.
