Hundreds of people celebrate the Albiceleste title in Murcia
The Argentinian community in the Murcia region, made up of 1,476 people, celebrated in style the title won by Scaloni’s team in the World Cup final against France. The epicenter of the celebration was in the capital, where half a thousand Argentines took to the intersection of La Redonda with Alfonso X to celebrate their country’s success at the World Cup in Qatar in style after the penalty shootout was over.
At the Casa Argentina de Murcia many Argentines gathered to watch the game and then all rushed to the center of Murcia, to tour the most central streets blowing whistles, drums and of course the horns of their vehicles . They didn’t stop singing until late at night. There was also plenty of partying in the Zig Zag entertainment district, as well as the city’s Argentinian restaurants.
