The FC Barcelona organized a traditional Christmas meal with the media. The banquet was attended by almost the entire Board of Directors of Barça, under the leadership of Joan Laporta. Barca’s top president toasted the press, sent a conciliatory message and highlighted the role of journalists’ supervision. He also asked to observe a respectful minute of silence in memory of journalists who died throughout the year.

There are also veteran journalists such as historical Francesc Aguilarformer deputy director of MD, Pepe Gutierrezformerly of Antena 3, and Jaume Pujol-Galceranfrom The Newspaper.
In the whole almost three hours where report, club directors and the press shared a Christmas meal, highlighting kindness and good wishes for the new year. The president knows how to defend himself against pressure and demolition in the crowd of journalists.
