Michel’s Olympiacos won with a goal and an assist from James

After two consecutive draws, Michel González’s Olympiacos returned to victory on the fifteenth day of the Greek League with a 5-0 win over Asteras, facing a clash with four Spaniards who went up to six in the last half time.

The Spaniard Pep Biel, who opened the scoring, and the Colombian James Rodríguez, who signed the second, facilitated the new victory of Olympiacos, third in the table, which is led by Panathinaikos, although six points behind of AEK, second.

Biel, after four minutes, opened the scoring of the match played at the Georgios Karaiskakis stadium and James extended it after half an hour with his third goal in the Hellenic championship. In the second half, at 6′, Congolese Cedric Bakambu, after a pass by James, scored the third.

Olympiacos wrapped up the win in the final period. In the 84′ minute, Cape Verdean Garry Rodrigues scored the fourth and with a discount Georgios Masouras closed the scoring.

An Astera full of Spaniards

The Athenian team caused the second defeat in the last four days for Asteras, who faced the clash with four Spaniards in their starting eleven: David Carmona, Pepe Castaño, Juan Domínguez and Xesc. He finished the game with six because at game time Adrián Riera and Daniel Santafe came on the field. Defender Francisco Atienza, who remained on the bench, did not get a minute.
