Wissam Ben Yedder awakened Monaco with a hat trick in a quarter of an hour that increased his scoring crop to eleven goals in Ligue 1, merciless against Ajaccio (7-1) and continued their ascension to the French competition.

The draw against Lorient the day before halted the push of the Monegasque team, determined to reach one of the top three spots in the standings at the time, rewarding them with qualification for the Champions League.
