A Saudi tycoon pays 2.4 million to see Messi-Cristiano

Mushref al-Ghamdia wealthy Saudi real estate magnate, bought a ticket for the friendly match between PSG from Leo Messi and a selection of the best players from Al-Nassr’s Saudi clubs from Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Hilal, for 2.4 million euros.

To promote this gathering, Turki al-Sheikh, advisor to the Royal Court and head of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, launched an auction. A match ticket with all the benefits of VIP.

The bid started at 1 million Saudi riyals (245,000 euros) and ended at 10 million riyals (2.4 million euros), paid by Mushref al-Ghamdi, a real estate giant in Saudi Arabia. As a reminder, this is probably the last confrontation between two world football stars: Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
