Children exchange the classroom for nature

The school cross attracts 1,500 children in the Parque de los Exploradores in the Santa Ana residence, in Cartagena

The Cartagena school cross was held again yesterday after a two-year absence due to the health situation. More than 1,500 children from 57 educational centers spent another day.

In this large green lung of the municipality, students from five categories (baby boy, youth, child, cadet and youth) completed two circuits of 1,000 and 1,350 meters. The first three classified, per team and in individual draw, received a prize. They will also represent Cartagena in the regional final which will take place on Wednesday, February 1 in Lorca and on February 10 in San Pedro del Pinatar, depending on the category.

The striker Farisato, new player of Lorca

Marco Farisato (Caracas, 1998) is a new player of Lorca Deportiva since yesterday. He is a Spanish-Venezuelan striker, international under-17 and under-19 for Venezuela, who comes from Torrent. Farisato has played in several teams in the Valencian Community, such as Alzira, Orihuela, Acero or Olimpic de Xátiva, but he is particularly notable for having progressed through the lower categories of Levante and Valencia, to where he arrived in Spain as a youth.

Torrevieja will bring together 426 sailors from 26 countries

The XV Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja Trophy starts the countdown to the great sailing festival, in which 426 sailors will participate. This international regatta will be held from 26 to 29 January with representatives from 26 countries.
