The Everton announced on Monday the dismissal of the Frank Lampard. The English coach was dismissed after a disastrous run of results (8 losses and 2 draws) that relegated the ‘toffees’ to penultimate place in premier league.
Lampard has not tasted success since October and the situation has become irreparable. At the end of his period, it was time to look for a new coach and the favorite was none other than Marcelo Bielsa.
The Argentine found himself without a team after leaving Leeds and was offered to be the savior of Everton, who have to fight to avoid relegation this season. however, bielsa had serious reservations about assuming the ‘toffees’, so the English club also brought up other options such as Sam Allardyce.
Allardyce’s experience is a plus point, as the Englishman has managed to avoid a return to the Championship with some of his assignments.
Also included in the list of candidates are Sean Dyche although the former Burnley coach disliked Everton’s board of directors who were increasingly in trouble.
