Bajcetic, his game, is one of the few good news that Anfield fans experience this course.

Bajcetic arrived in Liverpool from Celta C in December 2020 to play for the U-18 and U-21 ‘red’ teams. He participated in part of the final preseason with the Anfield first team and was made his debut by Jürgen Klopp on 27 August, in a 9–0 win over Bournemouth in the Premier. At 18 years, 2 months and 4 days, Stefan Bajcetic, whose game is dazzling to ‘red’ fans, he became the second-youngest Spanish player to score in the Premier League on 26 December, after Cesc Fàbregas, in a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Boxing Day.

Stefan Bajcetic, son of former Celta player Srdan Bajcetic, has played 10 official matches in all competitions including Liverpool. But in the last two, against Wolves in the tiebreaker in the FA Cup (0-1 for the ‘reds) and against Chelsea (0-0 against Chelsea in the Premier), Jürgen Klopp chose the man from Vigo instead of in Fabinho.

Bajcetic also assured after renewing: “It’s crazy. A year ago I was playing for the under-18 team and now I’ve started for the first team in a few games and even scored a goal. I didn’t expect it to happen this year. It’s amazing to see how fast. But I’m still working hard and hopefully there’s more to come.”
