City and United avoided each other in the round of 16 draw

There is no Manchester derby in the round of 16 of the FA Cup. The eternal rivals avoided each other and, according to today’s draw, Pep Guardiola’s City will take on Bristol City, from the English Second Division, while Erik ten’s United will host Hag at Old Trafford winner of the tie to be played tonight between Derby County, from Tercera, and West Ham

Tottenham, another of the candidates left in the running after the eliminations of Arsenal and Liverpool in the 1/16 final and Chelsea in the 1/32, will have a rival of a lower category. It will be Sheffield United (2nd) or Wrexam (5th), who will play the tiebreaker after a 3-3 record on Sunday on Welsh soil.

Brighton, Sunday’s executioner of still-champion Liverpool (2-1), will visit Stoke City, from the Second Division. The round of 16 matches will be played in the week starting February 27.
