Bryan Gil: “Sevilla is the club of my life”

Date:

Bryan Gil, who returned to Sevilla after the Andalusian club announced his signing on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season, makes sure he is excited to wear the shirt of the club where he grew up.

“The first reaction was one of maximum joy, I wanted to come and in the end it was done. My agent called me yesterday to travel this morning and it was a maximum joy as I say. My brother was crying, I was taking him inside. I didn’t want the option to fall out and I didn’t tell anyone, you prepare it and it doesn’t turn out so well”, the Barbateño told the club’s media.

The winger, who will be presented this Tuesday with the Franco-Senegalese Pape Guaye, whose transfer to Marseille is also now official, pointed to Sevilla as the club of his life. “For me, Sevilla is the club that has seen me grow and where I have been happy. This is the club of my life, I did not expect to return and as soon as my agent told me I told him not to when looking. The love that my family and I have for him is unbelievable. This is a club that represents me, I made my debut at the age of 17 on Three Kings Day”.

Bryan Gil recalled that the physical level was higher in the Premier and the referees were also remarkable, as well as his eagerness to hear the anthem on his return to Sevilla. “I want to listen to the anthem. I’m sure I’ll be emotional there and if I make my debut in Sánchez-Pizjuán against Mallorca, it could be my birthday… the fans lift you up and the other day they said. to me it’s one of the best innings of the season”.
