Marco Asensio signed with Jorge Mendes’ agency representative, Gestifute, after ending his relationship with Horacio Gaggioli, according to the newspaper As. The Argentine has been Balearic’s agent since he was a child and he pulled the strings for his move to Real Madrid in 2015.
Real Madrid’s ‘11’ is the latest signing of the world’s most powerful representative, Jorge Mendes, who recently recruited Nico González and Ansu Fati, Barcelona footballers.
Asensio’s replacement agent came amid rumors of a possible departure from the white club. The Mallorcan winger ended his contract with Real Madrid in June 2023 and is in negotiations to extend his bond.
Meanwhile, various clubs remain attentive to Asensio’s situation, with Milan and Arsenal as the main interested parties in his signing for next season.
