The judge removed the precautionary measures requested by the Super League

The Mercantile Court of Madrid, through its judge Sofía Gil, ruled on Thursday on precautionary measures raised in favor of super league just a year now. On April 20, 2021, an order was issued for the precautionary measures requested by the Super League. On July 13, 2021, lawyer D. Jaime Quiñones Bueno, on behalf of UEFA, filed a brief objection to the precautionary measures.

On September 28, 2021, the suspension of procedure and of hearing opposition to precautionary measures. In the continuation of the proceedings, the parties were summoned to conduct the hearing for March 4, 2022 when the parties were summoned to conduct the hearing, which they attended in a timely manner. On that day it was agreed to suspend by mutual agreement, in order to negotiate and reconcile.

On April 1, 2022, the hearing was held, at which the parties appeared in a timely manner and form. Defendant UEFA confirmed its opposition, LaLiga and the Spanish Football Federation made allegations and the defendant Superliga requested the maintenance of precautionary measures. Precautionary measures were removed this Thursday. Against this resolution, it is possible to interpose resources before the Provincial Court of Madrid.
