The 7th edition of Setmana Ciclista – Volta Femenina de la Comunitat Valenciana has revealed all the details of the 2023 edition. The race, which will be held from February 16 to 19, will once again feature the best cyclists in the world to give the audience 4 days of high-level cycling around three provinces of Valencian Community.

The presentation ceremony was held this morning at Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports where they attend General Director of Sports, Josep Miquel Moya; the director of the VII Setmana Ciclista and president of the Escapada Cycling Club, Rubén Donet; the president of the Cycling Federation of the Valencian Community, José Enrique Gutiérrez.
Demanding route with alternatives
481 kilometers divided into 4 stages that will offer opportunities for cyclists of different specialties. The sprints, the opportunities for the stage hunters and the characteristic mountainous difficulty will be the scenarios where the winners of each day will be decided.
23 teams, 12 at UCI Women WorldTeam level
The 7th edition of Setmana Ciclista will once again have a group of top-level teams that will color the difficult route.

A total of 23 teams, including 12 UCI WWT teams and 11 of the best teams in the UCI Continental category. The 23 teams will represent 11 different countries: France, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Norway, United States, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Italy and Spain.

There will be a total of 161 of the best runners on the national and international scene. For the 3rd consecutive edition, the Dutch film will appear on the streets of the Valencian Community Annemiek Van Vleutencurrent world champion and winner of the last two editions of Cycling Week.
THE STAGES
First stage: Valencia – Sagunt 119 km
2nd stage: Borriana – Vila-real 117 km
3rd stage: August – Altea 132 km
4th stage: Tavernes de la Valldigna – Gandia 112 km
Danish is also featured in the race Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, winner of the 2017 edition; the Italian Elisa Bálsamo, world champion in 2021; the Austrian Anna Kiesenhofer, current Olympic champion in Tokyo 2020; and the balearic mavi garciacurrent champion of Spain.
There will also be Valencian representation with the talents Sandra Alonso (only Spanish stage winner), Sofia Rodríguez, Marta Romeu, Alba Teruel, Susana Pérez or Sara Bonillowho will fight for the jersey for the best local.
