A goal from Silvente ends a five-match winless run for Yeclano

A hard-fought victory for Yeclano Deportivo against Xerez in a game where the Catalans were superior and took advantage of playing 60 minutes with one more player, but lacked definition to score more goals and take a more comfortable win.

The Barça coach opted for the two new signings at the start and that worked out perfectly. Boris and Silvente gave Yeclano much more presence in the rival area and those at home were much more intense, with constant arrivals that did not find their way to the target. In minute 27, the referee sent Rafa Parejo off for raising his shoe to Pau Pérez’s head. The azulgranas tried to be more present in the Xerez field and cemented their dominance, resulting in the only goal of the game in a personal play from Andrés Silvente in the area, who, after scrambling in front of the defense, defined with precision and quality to take the azulgranas in 44.

In the second half, Xerez started strongly, but did not reach the goal defended by Iván Martínez. Adrián’s men had plenty of options to finish the game and live comfortably to the end, but they didn’t know how to score at the gate of a very successful Jano. In the end, it was suffering to take three points that ended a poor run of five consecutive games without enjoying victory.
