canadians Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor were at their best Thursday at the start of the Phoenix PGA tournament (Arizona), on a day that started almost two hours late due to high winds and that it was interrupted by darkness before Jon Rahm finished the 18 holes.
Hadwin and Taylor completed their respective rounds at five under par.but many of his pursuers did not complete the course and will have to resume it this Friday from 7.45 am (local time).
Australian Jason Day, after ten holes, and Jim Herman, after thirteen, are four shots under par and have a serious chance of taking the lead from the two Canadians.
Xander Schauffele finished his round and is currently secondwith also four under par.
Rahm was three under par through thirteen holes before the interruption. He signed off with an ‘eagle’ on his final hole, after starting with a ‘bogey’ and later adding ‘birdies’ on the fourth and sixth holes.
The Phoenix tournament runs through next Sunday at TPC Scottsdale.
