UD Ibiza and SD Ponferradina signed a draw this Sunday in Palladium Can Be Missed with the tie preventing the sky-blues from adding vital points to leave the bottom of the table and serving the Bercians to leave the relegation places, momentarily, waiting for the result of this Monday’s clash between Real Racing Club de Santander and CD Leganés.
The first half started with dynamism on the part of the two teams, but with more coming to Amir’s goal through the sky-blues and there were more problems that would develop for the Bercians.

Chile’s Fausto Grillo tried early in the game, but it wasn’t until the 11th minute that the sky-blues got on the scoreboard with a goal from Ekain, who used resourcefulness to convert a cross from Joseda with his heel and smash the ball into the net from the opposing goal.
Deportiva increased the pressure on Fuzato’s goal, with shots from Kelechi from outside the area and Naim also trying his luck, but a superior Ibiza in the first half hour of play managed to abort all Ponfe’s attempts.
Gallego had to move off the bench in the first half after Hugo Vallejo requested a change due to injury, with Ojeda having to replace him.
Naim had the clearest chance to equalise, with a header between the sticks, the first for Bercianos in the first half, but Fuzato could save.
The second half started with a goal by Espiau that was disallowed for offside after the sky-blue protested against a possible penalty from the hands of Pascanu. The situation kept the game suspended pending a video arbitration decision.
With the celestes claiming a penalty as the ball hit Pascanu’s elbow inside the area, Ponferradina’s counterattack ended with a header from Espiau from the center of the area that brought the crowd from Berciano onto the scoreboard.
The joy did not last long for Ponferradina. Referee García Verdura stopped the game pending a VAR decision, which ended up blowing the whistle for offside, and disallowing the goal for Gallego’s men, but without awarding the penalty claimed by the Ibizans.
The pressure from Deportiva, which sometimes occupied the rival area in the second half, creating chances and using quick transitions, resulted in a goal from Espiau at 69 minutes into the game, from the middle of place with a shot with a left when Fuzato couldn’t parry it.
The match ended in a draw for both teams needing points, but leaving Pomferradina briefly in relegation.
