the dutch Femke Bol set a new indoor 400m world record after winning this Sunday in the final of the Netherlands Championships, held in the Dutch town of Apeldoorn, with a time of 49.26 seconds.
Bol was lowered by 33 hundredths the previous universal track record, held by the Czech Jarmila Kratochvilova with a period of 49.59 seconds since March of the year 1982.
This way, Femke Bol, who turns 23 next week, already has three world records to her credit, after setting the all-time best mark in the 300m hurdles last year with a record of 36.86 seconds and the same course best indoor 500 meter mark with a time of 1:05.63 minutes.
