Boca and San Lorenzo keep winning enough

Date:

Argentine soccer has dropped so much in its domestic competition that everything is too equal. Then the big ones, who had previously gained important advantages, smiled. they won But that’s enough. Without too much of them. Mouth and San Lorenzo shown.

Xeneizes, who played for a while with one man less due to the dismissal of Equi Fernández, beat Vélez 2-1 in Liniers. Hugo Ibarra’s team barely had a shot on goal, but found the necessary force to win. The second shout, the victory, was given when their midfielder received the red card.

Boca’s first goal made it clear that the partnership of Miguel Merentiel, who has a sensual assist, and Luca Langoni, who has a quick and accurate resolution, has a future. Vélez then tied it with a penalty scored by Lucas Janson. Until the xeneize touch and scorer from Nicolás Figal arrived, going in at the far post.

There were whistles in Vélez for the players (Diego Godín was the starter) and for the coach (the Uruguayan Alexander Medina). Boca continues in the same vein: small game, some dangerous situations created and, despite everything, ends in victory. He needs to offer something else on the ball.

One that didn’t have as many individual lights as Boca was Rubén Insua’s San Lorenzo, who beat Unión 1-0 on a header from Andrés Vombergar’s La Bomba. The difference is that Storm imposes greater conditions than the xeneize team.

The good thing about San Lorenzo is that he knows his limits and he never stops running. Also the restraint of his coach, Rubén Insua, to manage the small team he leads. In a simple formula, crows search without disarming, they know their limits.

In fact, although it could change because there are other games to be played on this fifth day, San Lorenzo is one of the leaders of the Argentine league, with 12 points, the same as Lanús and Talleres. In second place, with 10, Huracán, Boca and Rosario Central.

The other games on Saturday: Estudiantes 1 – Sarmiento 1 and Platense 2 – Talleres 4. Five games will be played today: River – Arsenal, Banfield – Independiente, Colón – Huracán, Defensa y Justicia – Atlético Tucumán and Instituto – Newell’s.
