The quarterfinals of Queen’s Cup start this Tuesday with the match between Alhama and Granadilla Tenerife (5:30 pm). On Wednesday, Granada CF-Atlético de Madrid (9:00 pm) will be played and on Thursday two more duels: Osasuna-Athletic Club (6:30 pm) and Villarreal-Real Madrid (9:00 pm).
With Barça missing out due to an incorrect alignment, as happened with Sevilla, in their round of 16 match, the strong favorites are Alberto Toril’s Real Madrid that he has a good road ahead of him to tie the first title of his history. Meetings can be followed by Telesport.
There are now eight of the 48 teams that started the competition in September. There are two teams from the Second Division, Osasuna and Granada, while the rest are from the highest category.
All of them will compete to reach the ‘final four’ which will be held in May at a yet to be determined venue.
