New legal battle looms for Tiger Woods

His girlfriend Tiger Woods He wants to void a confidentiality agreement signed then after a six-year relationship with the former number 1 in world golf.

The lawyers of Erica Hermann filed suit seeking declaration of judgment in a county court at Martin (Florida, United States). Woods and Herman have yet to publicly announce the end of their relationship, which began in 2017.

Erica Herman is regularly seen with the player in major tournaments, such as Masters of 2019 where he won his 15th grand slam or in the end President’s Cup where Tiger served as captain of the American team. However, Herman was not in Hero World Challenge played on or about December Genesis Invitational which Woods organized three weeks ago.

According to the complaint, a trust controlled by Woods was trying to silence Herman in a confidentiality agreement he signed while in a personal and professional relationship with Woods. The complaint argues that that confidentiality agreement should be voided under a federal law that prohibits its enforcement when it comes to sexual assault or sexual harassment. Herman previously worked at his Woods Jupiter restaurant.

The complaint does not provide details about what information Herman wants to disclose or whether he wants to make specific accusations against Woods. The complaint alleges that because of the “aggressive use” of the confidentiality agreement, Herman could not be certain that he could disclose “facts giving rise to various legal claims he believed he had.”

He also said that he was not sure what other information about his own life he could discuss and with whom.
