Lineker beats the BBC on credibility

I knew a young Gary Lineker when we met in the Barça dressing room many years ago and he always seemed to me, as well as one of the best forwards in the history of English football, a kind, reasonable and righteous person. He has shown this these days by not selling his opinion to the pressures of the BBC, after being one of the stars presenting it on the popular ‘Match of the day’ for a long time. The BBC, which has almost always been set as an example of professional conduct, has seen how Lineker destroys its credibility. The former footballer’s ‘sin’ was criticizing on Twitter the new Law against illegal Immigration promoted by the English government and using language he compared to that used by Nazi Germany. The BBC gave in to government pressure and removed Lineker from driving a space where his charisma shines as brightly as he did on the grass. And that’s not all. Other British soccer legends such as Ian Wright and Alan Shearer sided with Lineker and also left the BBC programme. Without changing his mind over a plate of lentils, Lineker unleashed his well-known irony when commenting on his exclusion and in particular the words of the immigration authorities: “And I’m the one losing the tone?

SNOWBOARDING CHAMPIONS

Irati and Raquel made history

Leaving your mark in any sport to the point of being the best is an achievement that should always have the recognition it deserves. But, sometimes, he doesn’t see in the media the applause that has an impact and scope equal to what has been achieved. That’s why it’s time to raise to the highest note of the week the success made by two super sportsmen like Irati Idiakez and Raquel Martínez when they conquered, in La Molina, the gold team in the Paralympic snowboard cross world championships. This is the first world gold for the Spanish Federation in the history of adapted snowboarding. Congratulations champions!

If it is denounced, everything is said

Football and its good reputation have been affected enough for people not to be more careful with what they say. BENZEMA AND THE WORLD CUP

deschamps is also long

When Deschamps spent so much time to justify his relationship with Benzema and the departure of the striker of the French team with a World Cup on the horizon, it seems that he was not quite right. If things don’t go well, it’s better not to think about it. Benzema responded on his Instagram with a clown icon.
