A violent accident occurred in Styria on the A9 on Wundschuh on Saturday morning: a Dutch came off the road and crashed into an earth wall. The car and trailer were thrown into the air. The 73-year-old driver was trapped in the wreck and suffered life-threatening injuries.
On Saturday around 5:30 am a 73-year-old Dutchman on the A9 was in the direction of playing on the A9 when he got off the road at the peak of the wound shoe. The car and trailer crashed from head -on against an earth wall that separates the highway drains from the driveway.

The steering wheel was caught in the massively damaged wreck and had to be freed by the fire brigade. The 73-year-old was flown to the LKH Graz with the rescue helicopter. According to the police, the man rose in injuries.
The A9 was closed between 6.30 am and shortly after seven hours in the area of the accident location for landing the rescue helicopter.
