Erling Haaland in its purest form. The Norwegian striker scored two goals in two minutes, from 21′ to 23′, to put Manchester City in the Champions League round of 16 tie after a 1-1 draw with Germany in the first leg.

Haaland opened the scoring in the 21st minute by converting a penalty awarded by Slovenian Slavko Vincic at the behest of VAR. The offense went unnoticed but the referee saw how Rodri’s header hit the arm of Benjamin Heinrichs and the ensuing penalty was converted by Haaland with a superb shot at the post despite Janis Blaswich guessing the intention.

Just two minutes later, a shot from the edge of the area by Kevin De Bruyne was deflected off the crossbar and Haaland, alert to the rebound, scored a chipped header past Blaswich. With this goal, the Norwegian is now averaging one per game this season as he has 35 goals (7 in the Champions League) in 36 games in all competitions this season.
