Tiafoe made it to his first Masters 1,000 tournament semifinals

The American Frances Tiafoe25 years old and world number 16, has reached his first semifinals of a tournament Masters 1,000 after defeating the British Cameron Norrie (12th) in Indian Wells (USA) for the double 6-4 after 1h.39′ of play. Norrie won this contest in 2021.

Tiafoe will face the winner of the match in between Daniel Medvedev (6th) and Spanish Alexander Davidovich (28th), who will try to give the bell and end the streak of 17 consecutive victories of the Russian tennis player, this year’s champion in Rotterdam, Doha and Dubai.

The North American player has the title, at Delray Beach’2018and lost his four other ATP finals.
