Rybakina moved up to seventh place; Badosa continues to slide down the WTA rankings

the kazakh Elena Rybakina rose to seventh place in the women’s tennis world rankinggained three positions, after his victory in the California desert of Indian Wells.

the polish Iga Swiatek, despite losing in the semifinals of the first Masters 1000 against Rybakina, easily maintained his world number 1 with 9,975 points, for Aryna Sabalenka’s 6,740, second. The American Jessica Pegula despite losing in the round of 16 of the American tournament remains in the third position.

the french Caroline García won one place and fourth at the expense of Tunisian Ons Jabeurwhile the great victim in the world top 10 was the Greek Maria Sakkari who lost three positions to become tenth.

The first Spaniard was Paula Badosa in 29th positionafter losing 7 positions this week.

After Catalan, Cristina Bucsa (82), Nuria Párrizas (88) and Rebeka Masarova (90) appeared on the list.

Outside the top 100 we find Sara Sorribes, 106 after losing ten positions this week, Marina Bassols in position 124 (-2) and Garbiñe Muguruza, who dropped this week from 129 to 131.
