France will move to Bangkok the scene of Super Cup Gala, the match under the name Champions Trophy pits the Ligue 1 champion against the champion of the Gala Cup. The clash, according to the official announcement made this Thursday, will be held next Saturday August 5, at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
This will be fourth time that the Trophy is contested on the continent Asian. The first was in 2014, in Beijing, to go to Shenzhen (China), which was the scene of the rivalry in 2018 and 2019. The last two editions of the Champions Trophy were held in Tel Avis (Israel).
The goal of the League is to strengthen the presence of French football in Southeast Asia, which has the potential to 400 million of soccer fans.
