The 62nd edition of Itzulia will feature the best cyclists of the international peloton

This Thursday took place official presentation of Itzulia Basque Country 2023 at the Teatro Coliseo in Eibar. The event was attended by Jon Iraola, mayor of Éibar; Gorka Iturriaga, director of Physical Activity and Sport of the Basque Government; Itziar Mahave, director of the North Territorial Commercial Network of Banco Sabadell; Goizane Álvarez, Director of Youth and Sports at the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa; Idoia Gonzalez, Marketing, Brand and Communications of TotalEnergies; Mikel Arrillaga, area head of brands and markets at HAZI, among others.

Julian Eraso wants to take advantage of this moment where town halls, institutions, sponsors and friends of the race “thank you for all the support, without your help this race will not continue. After some difficult years for everyone, it seems that we will be able to live cycling again as we did before the pandemic. Six stages of the world’s best cycling

Itzulia Basque Country 2023 will be held from April 3 to 8 in between Vitoria-Gasteiz and Eibar for a total of six episodes. The 62nd edition of the race will visit the towns of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Labastida, Viana, Leitza, Errenteria, Amasa-Villabona, Santurtzi, Amorebieta-Etxano and Éibartraveling 992.5 kilometers.

It is expected that on April 3 at the exit of Vitoria-Gasteiz there will be cyclists like the current winner of Itzulia.
