River Plate ‘signed’ Leo Messi on a night that once again sent Argentina fans into a frenzy and how Scaloni’s side were declared world champions in December.
River Plate acted as host at the Monumental stadium to welcome the team led by Leo Messi, the first game in which Scaloni’s men faced a fan in ‘green’ after touching the sky in Qatar. Messi wasn’t the only one who received a nice gift from River. Coach Lionel Scaloni was also honored with a River shirt and the number ’18’ on his back. The party is complete with a Monumental ‘fell’ to once again pay tribute to the world champion from the Albiceleste.
