The clubs that spent the most on these payments were the City of Manchesterwith 51 million pounds, and the Chelseawho paid 43 million, while the Liverpool released 33 million, the Manchester Utd 24 million was left, the Tottenham Hotspur16 million, and the Arsenalanother 16 million.
The one who spends the least Premier is Nottingham Forest, despite the fact that it included more than 30 players in its team at the time, with just over 4 million. Also noteworthy in the list is astonvillewith payments of up to 16 million, the leeds unitedwith 15 million spent on those services, and the West Ham Unitedwho paid 13 million.
In the lower categories of English football the cost is less than Premier and in Championship (Second division). The club spent 36 million pounds, being Burnley and City of Norwich those who paid the most, with four million each.
Naa League One (Third Division), clubs spent £5.5 million on that service, while in Second League (Fourth Division), clubs paid 1.7 million to agents and intermediaries, and to National League (Fifth Division) 600,000 pounds paid.
