Bruno Fernandesmidfielder of Manchester Utdknows that persistence is the key to success in sport and the Portuguese surprised a fan who sent him messages for 300 consecutive days promising him a signed shirt in a video call.
“I watched your tweet (to me) about 280 days and I told myself if (it takes) 300 days, I’ll send him a shirt!” Fernandes said on Twitter in February, citing a fan request for the number. 300 for his signed jersey. But a month and a half later, the Portuguese international decided to show the fan a shirt that he would give them via a video call.
“I appreciate all the support they have been giving me, obviously also to the club, and for this reason I want to give you my shirt,” said Fernandes in a video posted on his social networks. “I can’t even express the feeling, Bruno, I’m so happy!” said the surprised follower after answering the call.
