PSG adjusts and restricts its subscriber campaign

Hours after Mbappé publicly expressed his anger at PSG for using his image for a season-ticket campaign for next season, the club decided to backtrack and remove the ad. The Frenchman complained that he was not given proper information about the use to be given him of the recorded images, which were used to encourage the registration of partners for the academic year of 2023-24.

Through his Instagram account, Mbappé was frank in a statement in which he had no qualms about criticizing his club: “I don’t agree with what they did. That’s why I fight for individual image rights. PSG is a great club and a great family, but of course it’s not Kylian Saint Germain”, reads the French letter, which the French champion reviewed after going viral on social networks.

It is not convenient to be angry with Mbappé. With a contract until 2024, PSG are breathing a sigh of relief as he has exercised the unilateral option that goes out of the player’s power to continue for another year. Again, the rebuilding project goes through the French beyond what is happening with Messi and Neymar. Meanwhile, Mbappé emphasizes the importance of controlling his image rights so that situations like today do not happen.
