Date:

Not as disappointed as after the latest results, but not wanting to crack a smile that has not been appreciated for a long time, Jurgen Klopp spoke to the press after the draw match Arsenal (2-2) in Anfield that repels the Liverpool of fight for europe, now at 9 points with one game less.

Regarding the future of the match, the German coach commented that it was not the first time he had seen that: “It’s quite typical for us this season. An open game, completely open, they scored the first time and the second. Good our reaction. In the end it was a fantastic match. I don’t know how we didn’t win those last times”, Klopp told the Sky Sports microphones.

Klopp was very clear in saying they deserved to win: “I’m between being happy and not being happy. I have no problem with the draw. Arsenal are good, but they can and should lose this game. The point for them is better“.

Despite everything, he believes the game was entertaining for both fans and highlighted the atmosphere at Anfield: “We had moments and opportunities where we didn’t finish the situations. Something typical. They fly and score them for the first time. The goal we scored helped a lot. At the break it’s not over yet. The atmosphere is sensational. This is a good moment to tie.

In his opinion about the confrontation of andy robertson with the assistant referee at halftime: “Nothing. I know what happened, but I didn’t see it. If it happened, the images will speak for themselves,” he briefly concluded.
