Luxury watch thefts are on the rise in the Côte d’Azur (southeast France) and neighboring Italy.

At the beginning of April, the Italian carabinieri announced the arrest of three men and a woman suspected of stealing in Italy, in April 2022, a luxury watch from Monegasque F1 driver Charles Leclerctearing it from his wrist.

According to the Italian news agency Ansa, it is a Richard Mille watch worth around 300,000 euros. The watch was also not found.
