After this weekend’s Berlin e-Prix, there will be two Spaniards behind the wheel at the Formula E ‘rookie’ test in Berlin: Roberto Merhi and Mikel Azcona.
The single-seater electric competition announced on its website the participation in said test of thank youwho competed in F1 with Manor in 2015. The Benicassimat 32 years old, will debut in a formula e with the Mahindra team on April 24.

For his part, Mikel Azconacurrent World Touring Car champion with Hyundaiwill also participate in this Formula E test with the team NIO 333 Career, according to the ‘e-formel’ portal. Azcona is a touring car driver and has to adapt to driving a single-seater, but in his favor he has experience with electric vehicles having competed in the FIA ETCR World Championship for electric touring cars with Hyundai , a competition that will no longer be held this year due to the withdrawal of your promoter.
