Roberto Laiseka, technical director of Itzulia Women reviews each stage:

1st Stage ETXEBARRIA (EIKA) – MARKINA-XEMEIN 122.2 km

First stage of contact with Itzulia Women 2023. The start of the stage is uphill with many ups and downs until kilometer 50. There begins the climb to the first scoring port of this edition. The Urkaregi climb and its descent will decide which riders will fight for victory and the yellow jersey in Markina-Xemein.

2nd Stage VITORIA-GASTEIZ – AMURRIO 133.2 km

A fairly quiet start and a third-rate port to make the break. Now the intermediate sprints and their bonuses will be important from each to the general. The end is not complicated, but it has a slope and a descent with 5 kilometers to go that can help you reach the finish line in a select group.

3rd Stage DONOSTIA – DONOSTIA 114.8 km

The stage that decides everything. The route mimics the San Sebastián Classic climbing Jaizkibel from Lezo and ending with the Murgil wall climb to Mendizorrotz. The descent to Orio and the next kilometer to San Sebastián is a test of time.
