Rafa Cabrera, three shots behind the trio of leaders in Japan’s ISPS Ready

the great canary Rafael Cabrera was caught in the fight for victory in ISPS Ready Championship after delivering a card of 66 strokes (-4) on the second day. Rafa made four birdies without a miss to reach the top of the table, three shots behind the lead shared by Lucas Herbert (-10), Jazz Janewattananod (-10) and Grant Forrest (-10).

In addition to Rafa, eighth after the end of the second round, Ángel Hidalgo (46th with -3) will play the weekend after a round of 68 shots. The man from Malaga made six birdies and four bogeys.

Scotsman Grant Forrest, Australian Lucas Herbert and Thai Jazz Janewattananond led the tournament with 130 strokes. Parity is the dominant record and suffice it to say that Cabrera is tied with thirteen other players with 133 shots.

As for the other Spanish players, Jorge Campillo dipped with a +2 that dropped him to 62nd place with a 138 total.

Nacho Elvira, Santiago Tarrió, Adri Arnau and Pablo Larrazábal were not present.
